Ceremony & Reception Spaces

Your ceremony rental includes:

  • one (1) hour time period
  • set up and teardown of chairs, oak registry desk & chair and gift/guestbook table
  • two (2) Oak Pillars if required (flowers to be provided by Bride and Groom)
  • tissues, water station, and coat rack (no coat rack if the ceremony location is the Outdoor Terrace)

Your reception rental includes:

  • complete set up of your wedding banquet room (tables, regular banquet chairs, white china and silver flatware)
  • gift table, guest book table, cake table
  • option of a raised head table
  • music curfew at 23:00

The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel is a popular wedding venue and books weddings up to 12 months in advance only.

Kindly note that the venue is unable to host Weddings between the following dates: December 22 - January 2. Other date restrictions may occur based on hotel occupancy levels so please inquire with the Conference Services Manager.

Weddings in a National Park

Hosting your wedding at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel means celebrating amidst the breathtaking beauty of Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While the stunning natural surroundings add magic to your special day, there are some important guidelines to follow to preserve the pristine environment:

  • No Drones: Due to strict regulations in Banff National Park, drones are not permitted. This ensures the tranquility and privacy of the park’s wildlife and visitors.
  • No Fireworks: Fireworks are also prohibited to protect the park's wildlife and maintain the serene atmosphere.
  • No Live Butterfly/Dove Release
  • Eco-Friendly Décor: Non-organic items like plastic confetti, fake flowers, birdseed and rice are not allowed. However, organic rose petals are permitted if someone is assigned to clean up afterward (otherwise a $250.00 clean-up fee will apply).
  • Leave No Trace: Couples and guests are encouraged to minimize their environmental footprint by following park guidelines, such as disposing of waste properly and avoiding any actions that could harm the natural surroundings.
